Happy Easter

It is Easter Sunday, lent is officially complete, if you gave anything up from Pancake day until today well done, now go and treat yourself, you deserve it 🙂

Easter weekend 2020 for most of the globe will be in a state of lockdown/quarantine due to the Corona virus aka Covid 19. But, we can still phone or video chat with our friends and family, we have games to play, films to watch, if you have a garden or balcony you have sunshine to enjoy. Things could be worse. We have to think og the good that is around us.

It is nice weather, the spring flowers are blooming, nature is still carrying on regardless, there are lambs hopping around fields, chicks hatching, new life beginning.

A huge thank you goes out to all the key workers still working hard every day to keep your countries going. The doctors, nurses, paramedics, support workers, care workers, supermarket staff, delivery drivers, postal staff, emergency services, call centre staff, refuse clearance teams, radio presenters and their teams, new and existing volunteers and charities- there is such a long list of people still working and I know I have probably missed several off that list as my mind is boggled from WFH the last 3 weeks and only leaving the house once a week but my thanks to anyone and everyone still doing their jobs.

In the words of Michelle Visage and Giovanni Pernice “Thank you, thank you, thank you”.

I hope you all have a lovely Easter and gets to celebrate with loved ones, even if it has to be on a virtual only basis until this is over.

Please stay safe, stay home, protect each other. We can do this if we all stick together, the sooner everyone complies, the sooner we can go out again.

Until next time, TTFN.

Let me know in the comments what you are up to this Easter bank holiday weekend, if/how you are celebrating and how you are coping with quarantining.
